2015 Ford Galaxy is all set for launch here in U.K. this summer, at a price starting 26,445 G.B.P. This new 2015 Ford Galaxy gets a 1.5 litre EcoBoost engine which makes 158 BHP and better handling suspension. The intelligent all-wheel drive will come as an option which has to be ticked, which means when driving on any road conditions the sensors sense the road every 16 milliseconds and send 100% power either to the front or the rear wheels depending on the road condition.
Interior has undergone significant change, with Ford swapping in a new 10 inch digital touch screen unit in higher trim variants. This new digital interface, is fully customisable. The rear leg room and head room has undergone some changes, and experts do suggest that the cabin is roomy with up-to 40mm increase in head room in the second row seating. The third row seats now offer a central armrest with cup holders. The flatbed storage now offers extra 20 litres of storage, thanks to an underneath storage in boot.
The 2015 Ford Galaxy shares, underpinnings from the Ford S-Max and Ford Mondeo. Self-Levelling rear suspension is also available which means drivers can now choose between Comfort, Normal and Sport Driving modes. According to Ford, this suspension setup delivers better impact absorption for a smoother ride and reduced noise levels.
Along these improvements, Ford has also packed in various safety features including parking aids and a spit-view camera.
